Essentially the Christmas holidays is a good time of year to take a look at your property externally and ensure everything is looking in order. So, have a glance at any bay window tops to see if they may need some attention or if a leak has appeared internally its highly likely your flashing has degraded.
The festive period tends to bring some of the harshest weather which can also cause issues with your roof. If we have heavy snow or freezing rain these can lead to damage being caused to the roof. Keep an eye on the weather this Christmas here.

Just some basic checks you may not ordinarily have time to make whilst your off over the Christmas period.
- Check gutters and downpipes for blockages or plant growth
- Check roof tiles or slates for any missing, broken or slipped
- Check the lead flashings for signs of degrading or falling
- Check your chimney stack for loose mortar or leaning
